Varicocoele caused by a pancreatic pseudocyst.

چکیده

Pseudocysts of the pancreas, when large, can compress adjacent structures giving rise to a series of clinical symptoms and signs. We present a patient whose pseudocyst compressed the left renal and testicular veins, resulting in a left sided varicocoele. We can find no evidence of such a complication having been previously reported.

Echocardiographic features of a mediastinal pancreatic pseudocyst.

Cross sectional echocardiography detected a mediastinal pancreatic pseudocyst which caused extracardiac compression in a 49 year old man. Computed tomography confirmed the presence of a cystic lesion lying behind the heart and extending from the pancreas to above the carina.
